Nannette Shinn is an incredible lady. Ok, I might be a little biased because she is my grandmother. But I truly think that even if you aren’t related to her, you will love the amount of honesty that comes through in her story.
When I sat down with her one Saturday afternoon back in 2013 in Jefferson, Arkansas, I learned things about my grandmother that I may have never known unless it was through the Story Donors project. She went all the way back to growing up during World War II, segregation, and even a Bill Clinton story.
I hope you enjoy listening to her story as much as I did.
